Ténai Petra

I went to secondary school in Debrecen, at Ady Endre High School. Even back then, I was already strongly drawn to the world of theatre, so after graduating I continued my studies at the Margit Földessy Drama Studio and later at the Pesti Magyar Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Between 2015 and 2020, I studied at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, specialising in theatre directing and physical theatre choreography and directing, in Csaba Horváth’s class.

From 2020 to 2023, I was a member of the Móricz Zsigmond Theatre in Nyíregyháza, and since then I have been working as a freelancer. I also really enjoy being part of the independent theatre scene, and I regularly work with Trojka Theatre Company, both as a performer and as a creator.

At the same time, I work in several different fields: I am also a voice actor and a television editor, so fortunately my days are quite varied. I like it when there is always something happening and when I get the chance to try new things.

I love sports — they are genuinely an important part of my life. And I still have many, many hidden dreams. For example, one day I would really love to become a Hungarian female rapper. I have no idea exactly when or how that will happen, but at least I have something to look forward to. :)
