About

I was born in Debrecen and attended Szent Efrém Primary School there. It was during these years that I was first introduced to Hungarian folk dance and choral music. For more than ten years, I was a member of the world- and European-champion Lautitia Choir Family, as well as the Hajdú Folk Dance Ensemble.

My connection with theatre also began around this time. Thanks to József Nemes, the conductor of Lautitia, I joined the cast of Sasfiók, a production presented at the Csokonai National Theatre in 2007. There, and in the years that followed, I had the opportunity to work with many actors and theatre artists whom I greatly admire and who have had a profound influence on me. Over time, I went on to perform in several productions at the Csokonai Theatre.

I continue to work there today as a guest artist. I attended Ady Endre Secondary School, where I was also taught by theatre professionals who had a lasting impact on me.

In 2020, I was admitted to the University of Theatre and Film Arts, where my class was led by Csaba Horváth and Roland Rába. I graduated in Physical Theatre Directing and Choreography, although due to the interdisciplinary nature of my training, I now work primarily as an actor.

This interdisciplinary approach is extremely important to me. I believe that theatre-making cannot necessarily be divided into clearly separated creative and performing roles. A creative process built around ideas and artistic thinking can itself become a form of performance, and the reverse is equally true.

I believe that theatre is the conscience of humanity. As both an actor and a theatre-maker, this is something I always keep in mind.

Since 2025, I have been teaching movement for actors at KIMI, where I also strive to pass on this approach to my students.

Since 2026, I have been pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, focusing on independent theatre as well as the production How Did We Defeat Napoleon?, which premiered in Szeged in 1989.

Motto:

I never wanted to be an actor. I wanted to be Aragorn.
